Height - 5' 4"

Eye Color - Hazel
Distinguising Features - Two large tattoos of wings which cover her back when her wings aren't in use.
Background:
Coming from an abusive background, her mother died of AIDS and her father used to beat her. When he tried to rape her, Maddie fled and never looked back. With some help from friends, she created a new life for herself and enrolled in highschool.
Everything seemed to be going well, until one day, while enjoying the view from her favourite spot atop the school, she was set upon by several boys who thought it would be fun to scare the "freaky goth girl." Something went wrong and she fell from the roof, only to be saved by the manifestation of her power.
Two black wings sprouted from her back, saving her from an untimely death. Over time, she found that, when not being used, the wings took the form of two tattoos which cover her back. Eventually she was shunned for this and has been wandering ever since.
Powers & Abilities:
Maddie has the ability to call up her wings and fly at high speeds. Her bone structure is also much like that of a bird's with her bones being far lighter than those of a normal human's.
She has a some rough knowledge of escrima but rarely, if ever uses it.
Personality:
While she tries to avoid people, Maddie's only wish is to find acceptance.
Quiet and reserved, she rarely speaks. And when she does, does so in a quiet voice. She is not timid, however. Though she prefers not to socialize, keeping to herself and generally not attracting any notice.
She is not however, insane or mentally deranged in any way.
